Professor Adeola Oyenike Adeosun of the Department of Arts Education, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos (UNILAG) has been appointed Chairman, Business Committee of Senate (BCOS).
The appointment takes effect from Wednesday, July 8, 2026, for a two-year tenure, ending on Tuesday, July 7, 2028.
The Business Committee of Senate is a key organ of the University’s governance structure, responsible for advising the Vice-Chancellor and the Senate on procedural and academic matters, making recommendations to Senate on issues within its mandate, and facilitating the efficient conduct of Senate business.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS, congratulates Professor Adeosun on her appointment and wishes her a rewarding and successful tenure in this important role.
