The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, OON, has approved the constitution of the Honours Committee.
Membership of the Committee is as follows:

As for Terms of Reference, the Honours Committee will:
- Advise the University Senate on recommendations to be made to the Governing Council with respect to the award, to any person, of Honorary Fellowship, or Honorary Degree, or the title of Professor Emeritus.
- Advise the University Senate on any matter related to it from time to time.
The tenure of the Committee is for two (2) years, with effect from November 1, 2022 to October 31, 2024.
