Deborah Temitopeoluwa Ojuade, a 300-level student of Insurance in the Department of Actuarial Science and Insurance, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG), has been selected as a Millennium Fellow for the Class of 2026.
Miss Ojuade will serve as part of a global community of student leaders committed to advancing social impact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She will lead the Inclusive Lecture Initiative, a student-led project focused on promoting accessible and inclusive teaching practices within the university, and address barriers experienced by students with disabilities by encouraging adaptable lecture methods, accessible learning materials, and greater awareness among lecturers and academic stakeholders.
The Millennium Fellowship is a global student leadership programme convened by the Millennium Campus Network (MCN) in partnership with the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI).
