Professor Vide Adedayo of the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG) has been selected to participate in a Women in Agriculture Leadership Program Fellowship for CLARE Women Leaders.
The fellowship is funded under the Climate Adaptation and Resilience (CLARE) Program, supported by the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). It is part of a larger initiative by African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD), under the Africa–Australia Partnership for Climate Responsive Agriculture, delivered by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Prof. Adedayo’s selection underscores UNILAG’s growing reputation as a hub for world-class scholarship and leadership. Her participation promises to amplify the university’s contribution to tackling climate change and advancing sustainable agriculture across Africa.
