Reynolds Construction Company (RCC) Nigeria Limited, one of Nigeria’s foremost civil engineering companies, is set to collaborate with the University of Lagos in the areas of construction and energy projects within the institution.
This was disclosed at a meeting of the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Nader Yusuf, with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, on Thursday, August 25, 2022. The three Deputy Vice-Chancellors of the University, Professor L.O. Chukwu (DVC, Management Service), Professor A. Atsenuwa (DVC, Development Services), and Professor B. Oboh (DVC, Academics & Research) were also present at the meeting.
Mr. Yusuf took pride in the long-standing operation of the company in Nigeria and the over-40 years relationship it has built with UNILAG. The RCC boss, accompanied by the company’s Business Development Manager, Mr. Harel Vaknin and another official, Mr. Gbenga Soetan, expressed delight at being back at the citadel of learning. He restated the readiness of his company to give great value to the University of Lagos.
In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, lauded the track record of the construction giant in the Nigerian economy. He expressed confidence in their ability to deliver on the projects.
In the course of the meeting, Mr Nader Yusuf and his team were conducted round the Senate House, which is slated for refurbishment and architectural up-grade.
