The Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos, Professor Folasade Ogunsola OON, FAS, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, delivered the 2023 Horatio Oritsejolomi Thomas Distinguished Guest Lecture at the Trenchard Hall of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Titled: Cities, People and Bugs- Perspective on Combating Antimicrobial Resistance in Nigeria, the lecture saw Prof. Ogunsola advocating for slum upgrade rather than destruction.
