DLI Holds 2nd International Colloquium, August 1

The Distance Learning Institute (DLI), University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to hold the second edition of its international colloquium on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, DLI, UNILAG, Akoka.

Registration for the Colloquium which will be held in a hybrid mode (physical and virtual) is free. However, interested participants are required to register for attendance on or before Friday, July 21, 2023, via https://dli.unilag.edu.ng/colloquium/

The founding and current Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Emeritus Professor Olugbemiro Jegede, is the Chairman of the event while the Director, African Strategic Partnerships, Lancaster University, Dr. Akanimo Odon will serve as the Moderator. The Chief Host and Host are Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, Vice-Chancellor, UNILAG and Prof. Uchenna Udeani, Director, Distance Learning Institute, UNILAG, respectively.

With the theme: Hybridization of Instructional Deliveries in the Emerging Global Higher Education Ecosystem, the colloquium will bring together national and international Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) practitioners and experts who will deliberate on the theme, as well as conceptualise and critically think through the next course of action for the advancement of ODeL.

It will feature a keynote address by the Principal Associate of Technology, Education and Design Associates, Melbourne, Australia and former Pro Vice-Chancellor/Director of the Centre for Flexible Learning, University of the South Pacific, Oceania, Professor Som Naidu.
