UNILAG 2026/2027 Admission Exercise: Notice of Change of Course Application

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) wishes to inform all 2026/2027 UTME applicants who participated in the University’s Post UTME screening exercise but did not meet up with the cut-off marks for their preferred courses that limited vacancies are available in the following programmes only for consideration during supplementary exercise:

Please note that courses not listed above are already fully subscribed. 

However, interested candidates who wish to change to any of the above programmes are invited to apply through the University’s change of course application portal at NO COST: 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE: 

Eligible candidates should log on to changeprgm.unilag.edu.ng then, take the following steps: 

• Click on Prospective Student Login 
• Enter Your UTME Registration Number in the space provided and click the “Login” button to proceed. 
• Upon successful login, carefully read the information displayed on the application interface 
• After reading the information displayed in the pop-up notification, close the message and select the appropriate option on the application interface to continue. 
• Complete the change of programme application by following subsequent instructions displayed on the portal to select your preferred programme, confirm your eligibility and compete the application process. 
• Carefully review all information entered before submitting your application. 
• Submit and retain your application details. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

1. Candidates are advised to ensure that they meet the prescribed JAMB and O’level admission requirements for their intended programmes before submitting an application. 
2. Submission of an application for a change of programme does not guarantee admission. 
3. Admission will be based on the University’s approved admission criteria and the availability of spaces. 
4. Candidates who are successfully offered admission through this process will be required to effect a Change of Course with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to ensure that their admission letters reflect the approved programme of study. 
5. The minimum Post-UTME score required for eligibility is 12. 
6. Submission of more than one application shall result to disqualification. 
7. The application is open and will close on Friday, September 25, 2026. 

Applicants are advised to carefully review the admission requirements before submitting their applications.
