UNILAG Registry Week 2.0: Call for Articles and Jokes

As part of activities marking UNILAG Registry Week 2.0, the Publication and Media Sub-Committee invites members of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Registry to submit original articles and appropriate humour pieces for publication in the 2026 edition of the Registry Sentinel.

Theme: Embracing Global Practices for Exceptional Service Delivery

Submission Guidelines

Articles

  1. Must be original and unpublished.
  2. ⁠Should align with the Registry Week theme and related areas such as service excellence, innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, workplace wellness, leadership, ethics, professionalism, and global best practices in administration.
  3. ⁠Maximum length: 750 words.

Jokes and Humour Pieces

  1. Must be original, tasteful, and workplace-appropriate.
  2. ⁠Should promote healthy humour and reflect the realities of professional and administrative life.
  3. ⁠Maximum length: 200 words.

Selection Criteria
Submissions will be assessed based on:

  1. Relevance to the theme
  2. ⁠Originality and creativity
  3. ⁠Clarity and quality of writing
  4. ⁠Practical value and reader engagement
  5. ⁠Professionalism and appropriateness

Only shortlisted entries will be published.

Submission Deadline: Saturday, August 15, 2026

The Committee reserves the right to edit accepted submissions for style, clarity, length, and consistency with the magazine’s editorial standards.

We encourage all members of the Registry to contribute and help make the Registry Sentinel a rich reflection of our collective knowledge, experiences, creativity, and commitment to administrative excellence.
