The University of Lagos, Nigeria, in collaboration with Stellenbosch University, South Africa, is organising Joint Doctoral School Workshop with the theme, “Undertaking a Doctorate – What to know at the beginning about your Research”, scheduled to hold from Monday, November 18 to Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Arthur Mbanefo Digital Research Centre (AMDRC), University of Lagos, Akoka-Yaba, Lagos.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development Services), Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, will be the Convener at the Joint Doctoral School Workshop, while Prof. Sarah Howie & Dr. Ruth Albertyn of Stellenbosch University and Dr. Musa Obalola, Dr. Alex Igundunasse & Dr. Ismail Ibraheem of the University of Lagos will serve as facilitators. The Programme Manager at the African Doctoral Academy, Stellenbosch University (ADA, SU), Corina du Toit, will also support the facilitators.
Who can attend?
The workshop is targeted at:
- Masters students at the end of their degree considering pursuing a PhD;
- PhD candidates who are currently preparing for their PhD or in the early phases of their PhD
