IADS Celebrates Black History Month, February 26

The Institute of African and Diaspora Studies (IADS), University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to hold an event in commemoration of the Black History Month as follows:

Date: Wednesday, February 26, 2025
Time: 11:00 a.m.
Venue: IADS Gallery, J.P. Clark Building, UNILAG

Professor of Entrepreneurship Hub-Innovation and Strategic Management, UNILAG, Professor Sunday Adebisi, who is also the Director of Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre (ESDC), UNILAG, will speak on the theme: “The Role of Vocational Training, Entrepreneurship and Organised Labour in Combating Economic and Social Injustice in Nigeria.”

The event will also feature the award of prizes to winners of a secondary school essay writing competition organised by IADS in celebration of the month.
