The Registrar and Secretary to Council, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Mrs. V. Abosede Wickliffe, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, received the Dean of UNILAG School of Postgraduate Studies, Professor Abraham Osinubi and key members of his team including Dr. Adegboyega Ehinmowo (SPGS Sub-Dean); Dr. Joy Ekwoaba, (SPGS Board member); Mr. Rotimi Adedunye (SPGS Administrative Secretary); and Mr. Olakunle Adeninji.
Speaking during the courtesy visit, Professor Osinubi underscored the critical role the Registrar’s Office plays in the successful administration of the postgraduate school. He acknowledged the pivotal contributions the office has consistently made to ensure the smooth running of postgraduate programmes at the University.
While offering heartfelt congratulations and prayers for a prosperous tenure for the new Registrar, Professor Osinubi assured her of the unwavering support of SPGS. He also reiterated his team’s openness to new ideas and initiatives that could further enhance the administrative capacity of SPGS.
In response, Mrs. Wickliffe expressed gratitude for the visit and commended the SPGS leadership for their thoughtfulness in personally reaching out. She reflected on the special place the school holds in her heart, as the foundation of her journey in University administration.
The Registrar reiterated her commitment to fostering professionalism and top-notch work ethics to re-shape and advance the University’s administrative framework.
The courtesy visit ended with the presentation of a congratulatory card from the Dean and his team to Mrs. Wickliffe.
