The Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Business Incubation Certification (EIBIC) Programme for the 2023/2024 Academic Session of the University of Lagos entered Day 2 on Thursday, April 18, 2024 with students from the Faculties of Arts and Engineering having their turn.
Holding under the auspices of the Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre (ESDC) of UNILAG, the seminar is aimed at exposing students of the university to the nitty gritty of business, entrepreneurship and innovation development beyond students’ course of study. It also aims to instil entrepreneurial spirit in students and guide them to become business owners/employers, before or after graduation.






The EIBIC Seminar taking place at the J.F. Ade Ajayi (Main) Auditorium saw the students being addressed by top notch industry players across different sectors in Nigeria.
Speaking at the Opening session which held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, assured the students of opportunities which would make them excel not only in their chosen disciplines but also in Business and Entrepreneurship.





She reaffirmed the university management’s objective to raise a generation of viable business owners, gainful job creators and employers of labour even before completion of Bachelors’ Degree through the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Business Incubation Certification (EIBIC) Programme.
The EIBIC Programme continues till Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
