Friday, June 23, 2023 will be a memorable day in the lives of thirty-eight (38) visual artists as they are officially presented to the world in an exhibition titled: REVELATION.
Scheduled to open at 12noon at The MAD House, Lagoon Front, University of Lagos (UNILAG), the Revelation Art Exhibition would feature over one hundred (100) works of the final year students of the Visual Arts Unit of the Creative Arts Department, UNILAG.
It promises to be awe-inspiring, as this will be the biggest space the students have collectively exhibited yet and the venue, The MAD House will be opened to the public for the very first time.
Come witness the coming of age of these talented young artists who will display exquisite artworks in various art media.
Expected guests are:
- Bayo Omoboriowo, MFR, UNILAG alumnus and official photographer to the former President, Federal Republic of Nigeria. Mr. Omoboriowo together with the Unabashed Foundation, a group of UNILAG alumni making waves in the creative industry, donated the MAD House to the university to encourage young creatives in their alma mater.
- Art collectors in and outside Lagos will be present to view and acquire works of the emerging new masters of art.
