Faculty of Law, UNILAG Holds 1st National Data Protection Moot Court Competition & Mini-Conference, Nov. 3

The Faculty of Law, University of Lagos will on Thursday, November 3, 2022 hold its 1st National Data Protection Moot Court Competition and Mini-Conference with the theme: Future of Data Protection in Nigeria.

The event which is slated for 10 a.m. at the Tayo Aderinokun Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka will feature a Keynote Presentation by the Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Data Protection Bureau, Dr. Vincent Olatunji, and the following Discussants:

  1. Attorney General of Lagos State and Commissioner of Justice, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo, SAN
  2. Managing Partner/ Head, Data Protection Practice, SimmonsCooper LP, Mr. Dapo Akinosun
  3. Head of Privacy Policy, Africa, Middle East and Turkey at Meta, Dr. Ololade Shyllon
