In a bid to continue its illustrious relationship with the University of Lagos (UNILAG), the Management of Vitafoam Nigeria PLC hosted the 12th Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, as well as the 13th and incumbent Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, FAS to a dinner to celebrate their respective completion and assumption of office.
Speaking on behalf of both of them, Professor Folasade Ogunsola appreciated the kind gesture by the company and assured them of the University’s verve to promote collaboration between academia and industry. She appreciated the leaders before her who have played an integral part in setting the University of Lagos along the path of its trajectory to greatness. She asserted that her administration intends to build upon this foundation and propel the University to greater heights.
The evening was cosy with toasts and well wishes from family and friends of the visionary leaders. The 11th Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rahamon A. Bello, FAEng was also present at the event to cheer his protégés on.
