The Project Innovation to Market (I2M) at the University of Lagos seeks the services of a competent individual with strong marketing skills, who is passionate and willing to promote ready-for-market innovations, to fill the vacant position of Innovation Product Manager (IPM).
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a demonstrable understanding of Commercialization and Technology Transfer Processes.
- Have the ability to understand the technology he/she will be taking to the market .
In addition, the successful applicant will regularly liaise with players of relevant industries towards the commercialization of innovations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline is required.
- Ability to demonstrate strong Marketing skills.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a technically relevant role, e.g. Product Management, Product Development, Product Marketing, or a combination of the roles.
- Experience working with Start-up Ventures, Joint Ventures, and Strategic Partnerships is required.
- Excellent writing, communication and data management skills, with keen attention to details.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
