The Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, FAS on November 17, 2022, visited the Lagos Office of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), for an on-spot assessment of the facility.
The Vice-Chancellor who was received by the Registrar of JUPEB, Professor Wale Okunuga along with staff of the Board, took a tour of the office, especially the result processing systems and units of the Board.

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board is a national examinations body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria in December 2013. It was formally established in April 2014 by a consortium of ten (10) partnering universities led by the University of Lagos.
The Body has the responsibility of conducting common and standard examinations for candidates who have been exposed to a minimum of one year approved courses in different Foundation /Diploma Programmes of different universities, and are seeking Direct Entry admissions into university courses at the 200 level in Nigeria and partnering foreign universities.
