One of the largest manufacturers and distributors of Laundry Care Hygiene/Personal Care & Dental Care products in Nigeria, Aspira Nigeria Limited played host to a delegation from the University of Lagos on Friday, November 4, 2022.
The delegation led by the Director, Quality Assurance and SERVICOM, Professor Grace O. Otinwa was received by the Managing Director, Aspira Nigeria Limited, Mr. Houssein Jaffar.
While speaking, Professor Otinwa praised the company as a successful and reputable entity within the country. In appreciation of the company’s support of the institution during the Nigerian University Games Association, NUGA which held between March 16 – 27th 2022, she asserted that the inter-university games tagged NUGA-UNILAG 2022 witnessed a wide range of its products distributed by the company to both athletes and officials during the bi-annual event.
While she extended the warm regards of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS to Mr. Jaffar, noting that the Vice-Chancellor would have been available for the visit but unforeseen circumstances.
She narrated how so gratifying the gesture of giving out affordable and superior quality products were to end-users. Especially, when considering the potency of the product which resulted in ensuring that all the athletes feel hygienically safe after their daily sporting activities” she added.
Thereafter, a medal and some gift items were presented to him on behalf of the university as a show of appreciation for his support by Professor Otinwa witnessed by senior members of the company.
In his response, Mr. Jaffar thanked the team for its thoughtfulness and assured them of the company’s support to the institution for future events. He expressed satisfaction with the organization of the Games, which he described as colourful. He thanked the leadership of the University for the gifts presented to him.
The UNILAG delegation included Dr. C.M. Adewunmi, Miss Blessing, student Ambassadors, Mr. Adebayo Olatunde, and Miss Grace Jompe.
