The University of Lagos Senate, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, honoured three of its members as they take a bow out of the university service having reached the mandatory age of 70.
The trio who were honoured are Professor Duro Oni, Professor Olusimbo Olugbo Aboaba and Professor Olumide Olusanya.
In her remarks, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, congratulated the trio for their illustrious service and contributions to the university in their various capacities and the body of knowledge.
While wishing them well as they exit active government service, Prof. Ogunsola, on behalf of management, staff and students, prayed them good health, sound mind and longevity to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
In their separate responses, the trio of Professor Duro Oni, Professor Olusimbo Olugbo Aboaba and Professor Olumide Olusanya were thankful to the University Senate for the honour.
They were also grateful to the UNILAG community for the privilege of growth, career fulfilment, contributions to the body of knowledge and the grooming of future leaders.
