UNILAG Senate Honours Prof. Amund As He Bows Out of Service

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Senate, on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, honoured Professor Olukayode Oladipo Amund as he bowed out of the university service.

The Professor of Microbiology, who is a first class graduate of UNILAG (1977), joined the services of the University in 1978 as a Graduate Assistant. During the course of his illustrious career at the university, Professor Amund held several positions including Dean of Students Affairs, and Director of Distance Learning Institute, among others.

The renowned academic who is a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Science and African Academy of Science, is the current Vice-Chancellor of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin.
