Two Masters of Environmental Design (MED) students of the Department of Architecture have added another feather to the cap of the University of Lagos by winning different design competitions.
Mr Adetunji Dawud ( right of the Vice-Chancellor) won the Commonwealth Association of Architects 2019 Trophy Design Competition. He has been rewarded with a Certificate of Recognition and an all-expense-paid trip to Mombasa, Kenya, for the Award Ceremony and the Commonwealth Assembly Meeting.
Mr Temidayo Akinyelure ( left of the Vice-Chancellor) won the Creative Architects 2019 Great Designs Worth Celebrating Award. His entry emerged tops from the pool of numerous submissions made by students/young architects all over the country. He has been rewarded with all-expense-paid First Class trip to the Dubai World Trade Centre.
They were, today, presented to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, by the Acting Head of the Department of Architecture, Dr Nnezi Uduma-Olugu.
