Earlier today, the University of Lagos took a major step toward actualising another one of the core objectives of the Professor Ogundipe Administration.
The Board of Directors, Management and Shareholders of the UNILAG Microfinance Bank were officially introduced to the University of Lagos Management.
On hand to receive them was the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, who also doubles as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He expressed delight at the milestone reached and congratulated every single member of the Steering Committee, led by Professor Bola Oboh, internal and external Shareholders of the Bank, and members of the Management Team of the Bank for being a part of history.
At this stage, all that is left for full operations to commence is a final visit by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria upon which the operating licence will be granted.
