UNILAG Medical Centre Hosts 9th Annual Health Week / World AIDS Day

The UNILAG Medical Centre is set to host its 9th Annual Health Week and World AIDS Day commemoration. The event is slated for Wednesday, 1st December, 2021 and Thursday, 2nd December.

In response to the global health challenge posed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Medical Centre will organise a Public Lecture as part of the Health Week to sensitize the university community about the embrace of preventive measures such as wearing of face masks, social distancing, hand washing and immunization. This will do a lot in helping to avert cases of avoidable Covid-19-related deaths in our community and increase the well-being and productivity of our staff and students.

The theme of this year’s Health Week is “LIVING IN THE COVID-19 ERA”; and details are as follows:

The Walk will take off from the Senate Building at 9:00a.m. after the Vice Chancellor’s flag-off and end in front of the University Bookshop
