UNILAG Hosts UNDP Public Lecture & Ground-Breaking Ceremony for UNIPOD, July 10

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to host a Public Lecture that will be delivered by the Regional Director (Africa) and Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ms. Ahunna Eziakonwa on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10:00 am. at the Senate Chamber, Second Floor, Senate House, UNILAG.

The lecture, which is aimed at exploring Nigeria’s potential to become a leading economic powerhouse in Africa driving growth and innovation as well as prosperity across Africa, one of several events listed for Ms. Eziakonwa’s visit to UNILAG. The visit is part of her weeklong official mission to Nigeria.

Other activities scheduled for the visit include the official announcement of the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) themed UNIPOD in UNILAG.
