The NUC panels were formally received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics and Research), Professor Bola Oboh, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS. Also present were the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. V. In her welcome remarks, Professor Oboh described the resource verification exercise as a critical regulatory requirement and an important self-evaluation process for the University. She noted that the exercise would help UNILAG consolidate its strengths, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adequate preparedness for the commencement of the programmes, potentially in the next academic session.

She also expressed the University’s appreciation to NUC for its guidance and support, reaffirming UNILAG’s commitment to academic excellence and the delivery of globally competitive academic programmes.
The NUC panels were led by Professor Yusuf Dabari Mamman and Professor Abubakar D. Isha, who commended the University for its warm reception and level of preparedness.
