Various teams from the National Universities Commission have arrived the University of Lagos for accreditation of the following Programmes: Bio-Chemistry, Chinese Language and Radiography.
On Monday, November 4, 2023, the teams paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS accompanied by the Director, Academic Planning Unit, Prof Olusoji Ilori.
The teams were received in the Senate Committee Room by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services), Prof. Ayodele Atsenuwa along with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services), Prof. Lucian Chukwu; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Research), Prof. Bola Oboh, Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Prof. Folasade Akinsola; Acting HoD Radiography Department, Dr. L.C. Abonyi; Deputy Director, Confucius Institute, Dr. Banwo; among others.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services), Prof. Atsenuwa welcomed the team and reiterated the University’s readiness to ensure a successful accreditation exercise.
In response, NUC team leads which included Prof. Afolabi Akinola thanked the University Management for the warm reception. He declared the teams’ willingness to follow the NUC standard for accreditation and proffer advice to ensure positive improvement of the programmes.
