Management of the University of Lagos, on Thursday, March 14, 2024, played host to 3 (three) panels of Accreditors from the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The panels are in UNILAG for the accreditation of academic programmes of the University of Lagos Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards Enhancement (UNILAG-SPESSCE) namely: Procurement, Environmental Standards and Social Standards across the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), and Master of Science (M.Sc.) levels.



While receiving the team, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, described the 3 academic programmes as very special and important to the university in view of its global contemporaneousness at this crucial time.



Prof. Ogunsola particularly reiterated the university’s delight to always welcome teams of accreditors and other regulatory bodies. She described their presence as an opportunity for the university to cross fertilize ideals, learn more and make necessary improvements on its programmes.
In their separate remarks, Heads of the three (3) panels acknowledged and appreciated the management of the university for its track record of all-round excellence. They assured of their readiness and commitment to service and justice.



Also on hand to receive the NUC teams were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development Services, Professor Ayodele Atsenuwa; Acting Registrar, Mrs Olakunle Makinde and the Director Academic Planning, Professor Olusoji Ilori.
