The University of Lagos (UNILAG) will be hosting the 28th Annual General Assembly and Scientific Conference of the Nigerian Universities Nursing Students’ Association (NUNSA), from Sunday, April 6 to Sunday, April 13, 2025.
With the theme: Empowering Nurses: A Catalyst for Sustainable Healthcare in Africa, the event will feature various activities such as:
- Scientific Conference and Research Presentation,
- Nurse-athon (Hackathon) and Innovation Challenge,
- Data Privacy and Protection Workshop,
- Virtual Reality Clinical Training,
- Walk Against Quackery and Public Health Sensitization,
- Cancer Awareness and Screening Programmes,
- Cultural, Fashion and Music Festivals,
- Sports, Leadership Summit,
- Mr. & Miss NUNSA National Pageantry, and
- Annual Awards Banquet.
Over one thousand (1,000) nursing students from across the country, as well as healthcare professionals, policy makers and industry leaders are expected at the event which will provide insights on the future of nursing education, leadership and healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
