The Maiden General Studies Day of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to hold on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 9 a.m. at the Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, Distance Learning Institute (DLI), UNILAG.
A brainchild of the UNILAG General Studies Office, the event is expected to enhance undergraduate engagement with the General Studies (GST) curriculum, and reposition it as an important and dynamic component of academic life at the University.
Themed: The Future of e-Learning, the event will feature the following exciting activities: Legend Role Play, Career Talk and Quiz Competition by participants drawn from all faculties and Distance Learning Institute (DLI).
Expected Dignitaries include: Queen Tobi Phillips-Ogunwusi, Wife of Ooni of Ile-Ife (Mother of the Day); Engineer Ifeoluwa Oyedele, FNSE, FAEng, President Worldwide, UNILAG Alumni Association (Father of the Day); and Mrs. Ediri Ose-Ediale, Lead Psychotherapist, Recharge Life Centre (Special Guest of Honor) among others.
