Members of The Green Club, UNILAG thronged the hostels and roads of the University of Lagos Community on Saturday, March 25, 2023. It was Day Three of the ongoing University of Lagos Environmental Sustainability Challenge

Banner-bearing and flier-sharing, they promoted the Challenge to residents of all the hostels they visited and to passers-by. They sensitised them about the environment and the role each individual has to play in its preservation. They also enlisted their participation in the Challenge by encouraging them to scan the Sign-Up bar code.

Led by the Vice-President of the Club, Alamu Olajesu, members of the Club demonstrated their creed by picking whatever plastic bottle they found on their way, thus showing members of the community examples of how to keep the university clean and environmentally friendly.

Other members of the club who were on ground for the sensitisation drive include:   Arifalo Ebenezer (Financial Secretary), Esan Moyosore (Research Director), Bolarinwa Zainab, Olaoye Bukky, Olupitan Michael, Obey Victoria, Orazulike Chelsea, Idowu Faith, Okoro Sunday, Quadri Arinola, , Alamu Olajesu, Akinleye Babjide , and Ayoade-Ahmed Isaiah.

Project Lead of the Sustainability Challenge, Dr. Abdulganiyu Adelopo; Mr. Isaiah Kumuyi; and Mr. Ayodele Oloyede, both from the Communication Unit, were also present to give ready support.
