Department of Geosciences, Faculty of Physical and Earth Sciences presents the maiden edition of the Geosciences Town and Gown Lecture Series 1.0.
With the theme: “Overview of the Geosciences”, the three-day programme will feature in-depth conversations exploring the evolving landscape of geosciences, energy transition, subsurface exploration, reservoir studies, and emerging technologies shaping the future of the field.

Date: Monday, 24th – Wednesday, 26th November 2025.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily.
Venue: Faculty Boardroom, Faculty of Physical and Earth Sciences.
A distinguished lineup of specialists from TotalEnergies will anchor the sessions, bringing global industry insights and real-world applications directly into the academic environment. Speakers include experts in sedimentology, petrophysics, geophysics, reservoir engineering, and related earth science disciplines.
