The University of Lagos FabLab (UNILAG FABLAB) in collaboration with La Cite des sciences et de líndustrie, the Carrefour numerique2 and 11 other FabLabs in Africa is organising a Global hackathon titled: “the SDGs Challenge for Africa2020”. The challenge is designed to find solutions to reach Sustainable Development Goals.
This competition will take place in 8 African countries at the same time between Friday, December 11, 2020 and Sunday, December 13, 2020. Participants in the UNILAG FabLab will compete in teams and have 48 hours to find an open-source solution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, innovation and infrastructure) or 13 (Climate Action).
The Opening Ceremony will hold as follows:

The Competition proper is scheduled as follows:
Date: Friday, December 11, 2020
Time: 10:00a.m. – 8:00p.m. daily
Venue: UNILAG Fablab, D. K. Olukoya Central Research and Reference Laboratories.
The Grand Finale of the competition will be streamed LIVE on Zoom on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 6:00p.m.
