UNILAG Don, Professor Babatunde Oni, Elevated to SAN

Professor Babatunde Oni of the Department of Private and Property Law, Faculty of Law, University of Lagos (UNILAG) has been elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) at a ceremony held on Monday, November 27, 2023.

Professor Oni was the only academic out of the fifty-eight (58) newly appointed SANs to receive this prestigious elevation, which, according to the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and LPPC Secretary, Hajo Sarki Bello, Esq., is a mark of excellence for distinguished advocacy and academic contributions to legal practice.
