UNILAG Don, Dr Oyenusi, Elected ASPAE President

Dr Elizabeth Eberechi Oyenusi, a senior lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG), has been elected as the President of the African Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology (ASPAE) for the next two years.

The election, which was held during the recent 15th Annual Conference of the Society, took place in Algiers, Algeria on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

ASPAE is an international organisation with the aim to promote the highest levels of knowledge, research, education and clinical practice of paediatric endocrinology and metabolism throughout Africa.

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS, on behalf of the entire University community heartily congratulates Dr Elizabeth Eberechi Oyenusi and wishes her success in her new position.
