*The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 played host to members of the UNILAG Consultancy Services (UNILAG Consult) Board.
The Board led by its Chairman, Professor Uchenna Nkiruka Udeani made the courtesy visit to appreciate and celebrate Professor Ogunsola, whose birthday was barely a month ago, November 14.
With warmth and enthusiasm, Professor Udeani led the delegation to the Vice-Chancellor’s office on the 11th floor, where they gathered to honour her exceptional leadership and unwavering support for UNILAG Consult. “Though a little late, they say it’s better late than never,” Professor Udeani averred while emphasizing the Board’s deep gratitude for the Vice-Chancellor’s invaluable contributions to the success of the Consult’s 40th anniversary events.
In response, Professor Ogunsola expressed sincere gratitude to the Board for the visit. She took the opportunity to commend the Board members for their vision, dedication, and remarkable commitment.
The highlight of the visit was the singing of a birthday song as the Board members presented the Vice-Chancellor with carefully selected gifts, and tokens of appreciation for her pivotal role in the Consult’s recent 40th-anniversary celebration.
Present at the heartwarming gathering were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services), Professor Lucian Obinna Chukwu; and the Bursar, Mrs. Oluwafunmilola Adekunle who is also a member of the UNILAG Consult Board.
