UNILAG Confucius Institute Holds Cultural Day Celebration

The Confucius Institute (CI) of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) was a beehive of activities on Thursday, June 20, 2024, in the spirit of the 2024 Cultural Day Celebration.

Activities ranged from making confectioneries to crafts-making all anchored by Chinese instructors.

There was also a rich display of culture as some were seen dressed in different colorful attires representing different Indigenous cultures in Nigeria.

Pupils of UNILAG Staff School and other invited schools graced the event and partook in the craft and confectioneries-making sessions thereby giving them a first-hand experience of the Chinese cuisines and arts.

The grand finale of all events is the Dragon Boat Festival scheduled to hold at the Tayo Aderinokun Hall from 9:00 am on Friday, June 21, 2024.
