Four-time winners of the CFA Equity Research Challenge have presented the Trophy won at their 2021/2022 triumph to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS.
The winning team, led by their Faculty Adviser, Dr. Peter Amah, made the presentation today, April 4, 2022 at the Vice-Chancellor’s office.
A visibly delighted Professor Ogundipe commended the team for establishing UNILAG’s dominance in the competition, having won the Challenge for the fourth time in a row since 2018. He urged them never to rest on their oars, but to go ahead and replicate the feat at the forthcoming Europe/Middle-East/Africa (EMEA) Challenge, where they will be representing Africa against the likes of Poland, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates. (UAE). A virtual event, the EMEA Challenge will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2022.
Members of the team are Oluchi Ajie Nkem ( Department of Finance), Timilehin Awe (Department of Economics), Gladys Ajogwu (Economics), Abayomi Okeowo (Accounting) , and Oreoluwa Ayeni ( Economics).
