UNILAG Administrator Becomes Registrar of CPN

An administrator in the University of Lagos, Mr. Adebayo Adegbiji, has been appointed as the Registrar and Secretary of the Computer Professionals (Registration Council) of Nigeria (CPN).

The appointment of Mr. Adegbiji, a thorough-bred Data Scientist/Systems Analyst and Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS), is for a 5-year non-renewable term, effective from Monday, December 1, 2025.

The Computer Professionals (Registration Council) of Nigeria was established by Decree No. 49 of 1993 (promulgated on June 10, and gazetted on August 9, 1993). The body is charged with the control and supervision of the Computing Profession and Professionals in Nigeria.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, on behalf of Senate, Management, Staff and Students, congratulates Mr. Adebayo Adegbiji on his appointment, and wishes him success in his assignment.
