The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), through its Venture Fund, has opened applications for the 2023 Frontier Tech Solutions.
The UNICEF Venture Fund aims to provide equity-free investments/seed-funding of about $100, 000 (USD) to for-profit start-ups skilled in developing frontier technology solutions. The solutions need to have the capability of positively impacting the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children and youth.
The application is open to those with product(s) registered in one of UNICEF’s programme countries. The product should be a working prototype that has demonstrated results and is (or could be) open-source licensed. Interested participants are encouraged to visit https://www.unicefinnovationfund.org/apply/frontier-tech-solutions to apply. Application deadline is Friday, July 28, 2023.
