The University of Lagos Muslim Alumni (UMA) Annual pre-Ramadan lecture will hold on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prof. Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, Distance Learning Institute, (DLI), UNILAG, Akoka, Lagos.

The Speakers at this year’s event include a former Commissioner for Transport, Lagos State, Dr. Muiz Banire, SAN, and Shayk Dhikirullah Shaffi who will discuss the theme: National Transformation: Between Responsive Leaders and Responsive Citizenry

The Chairman of the event is Alhaji Tijani Babatunde Folawiyo while the Mother of the day is Alhaja Mainumat Giwa and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade T. Ogunsola, FAS is the Chief host.  

For twenty-eight (28) years, the UMA lecture has served as a social, spiritual, and financial potpourri; offering a platform for the discussion of salient issues on nation-building and spiritual development of muslims in Nigeria and the world.
