The Staff Training and Development Unit (STDU), University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to hold a two-day training for Deans and Heads of Departments as scheduled below:
Date: Tuesday, November 5 and Wednesday, November 6, 2024
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Venue: Academic Publishing Centre (next to the Faculty of Social Sciences Complex)
Theme: Synergy For Success:Enhancing Institutional Excellence
The training is designed to:
- examine the roles and responsibilities of Deans and Heads of Departments,
- facilitate improved staff performances through performance management,
- discuss the policies of the University on students’ academic matters such as procedures for deferment, leave of absence, abscondment, etc; and
- illustrate innovative teaching practices most suitable for learning by the Gen Z and the Alpha Generations.
