STDU Introduces Coursera Learners’ Support Centre

Members of staff are hereby informed of the establishment of a Coursera Learners’ Support Centre by the Staff Training and Development Unit (ST&DU) of the University of Lagos.

This is to assist members of staff who have been enlisted for the Coursera online courses, but have difficulties with internet access.

The Centre, which is supported with unlimited internet access by the African Engineering and Technology Network (AFRETEC), is open to members of staff who are interested in taking their recommended Coursera courses.

The ultimate plan is to fully equip the Centre with computer systems and smart devices such that members of staff can learn at their convenience. As arrangements are ongoing to achieve that, however, intending users are required to bring along their smartphones/devices and laptops to the Centre.
