This was part of the statement made by the Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, Professor Abraham Osinubi when the University’s Postgraduate School (SPGS) unveiled an ultramodern restroom facility, underscoring its commitment to enhancing the campus environment for students and staff.

The brief ceremony, which was held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, was attended by members of the SPGS Board and esteemed faculty including Dean, Faculty of Arts, Professor Mudashiru Ilipeju; Dean, Faculty of Education, Professor Simeon Adebayo and Dean, Faculty of Law, Professor Abiola Sanni, SAN.
The ultramodern restrooms have touch-less fixtures, advanced ventilation systems, and accessibility features, ensuring inclusivity for all users. Additionally, the facilities incorporate water-saving technologies and energy-efficient lighting, aligning with the University’s commitment to sustainability.



While highlighting the significance of the new restrooms, Professor Osinubi emphasized that the “investment in the facilities reflects the University’s dedication to fostering a culture of care, innovation, and pride”.
According to him, “the state-of-the-art restrooms is part of UNILAG’s broader efforts to enhance the learning environment, recognizing that a supportive and well-maintained campus is essential for fostering creativity, productivity, and overall well-being”.
