SPGS Sub-Dean, Dr. Gbiri Steps in as Board Member, World Stroke Organization

The Sub-Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS), University of Lagos, Dr. Caleb Gbiri has been elected into the Board of Directors of the Geneva-based World Stroke Organization (WSO).

Nine hundred and fifty-nine (959) members of the organization participated in the Board of Directors elections held from July 4 to 25, 2022.

Dr. Gbiri’s four-year tenure on the Board will commence officially on October 22, 2022, at the World Stroke Congress scheduled for Singapore.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, on behalf of the entire University community, heartily congratulates Dr. Gbiri on his latest feat.
