Review of CBT For Appointment and Promotion of Staff Advancing to CONTISS 13 & Above

The Human Resource Management Directorate wishes to inform members of staff and the University community that Council at its meeting of Thursday, July 29, 2021 approved the review of the Computer Based Test (CBT) for promotion of members of staff advancing to CONTISS 13 and above as recommended by the Administrative and Technical Staff Committee.

Consequently, Council approved that for the Appointment and Promotion of officers to CONTISS 13 and above, there will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 120 Multiple-choice questions to be answered in two (2) hours. This will be distributed as follows:

 1.Professional Questions30%  
 2.IT Proficiency10%
 3.Current Affairs (questions on UNILAG Akoka and Idi-Araba, Nigeria and International)5%
 4.Communication Skills10%
 5.Ethics  10%
 6.Human Relation Skills20%
 7.Strategic Thinking10%
 8.Critical Thinking5%
