Members of the University of Lagos community are hereby reminded that there is a WILLS CLINIC at the Faculty of Law, established to assist you in all matters of Will Writing, Estate Planning and Death Benefit Processing.
According to the Pension Reform Act 2014, only a validly processed WILL or a Letter of Administration will be the valid document needed for the processing of death benefits. The use of Next-of-Kin Form is NO LONGER acceptable.
Therefore, in order to mitigate the challenges associated with the processing of a Letter of Administration, and to aid the beneficiaries of a deceased who are unable to access the assets of the deceased, the WILLS CLINIC is ready to consult for members of staff and assist them with the entire process.
