The Association of Political Science Alumni, University of Lagos (APSA-UNILAG) has recognized and honoured the academic feat achieved by Temitope Solomon, the Best Graduating Student of the Department of Political Science at the 2022 (54th) Convocation Ceremonies.
The departmental alumni body celebrated Temitope Solomon along with three other students who had the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at various levels of study at the end of the 2021/2022 Academic Session. The other three students are: Yekinni Raji, Baki Adams and Oluwasegun Akinsola.
The four outstanding students were celebrated during the Orientation Programme for Freshers of the department, organized by the National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS), UNILAG. They all got various plaques and cash gifts, presented to them by the Head of Department, Dr. Maryam Quadri; and other dignitaries like Prof. Derin Ologbenla, who were present at the event. The Best Graduating Student also received a commendation letter from the Head of Department.
APSA-UNILAG was represented at the event by the General Secretary, Hon. Godwin Ewa.
