The Nigerian University Pension Management Company (NUPEMCO) on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 held an interactive session with members of staff of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in order to provide information and awareness about the company.
Held at the Aderinokun Hall, UNILAG, the interactive session provided a forum for officials of NUPEMCO to educate UNILAG members of staff on the profile, plans and mandate of the company as a Pension Fund Administrator (PFA).
Mr. Aliu Atiku who represented the company’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NUPEMCO, Mrs. Oluwakemi Ugwu explained that the company’s mission is to serve Nigerian workers, as the licenced PFA for Nigerian University system.
While highlighting the need for staff of university to migrate to NUPEMCO, Mr. Aliu explained that the migration process is easy and straight forward.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of Academic Staff Union of Universities, UNILAG Chapter, Prof. A.K. Adebayo noted that all members of staff including teaching and technical staff, could assess the services of NUPEMCO.
