NESA Executives Support Indigent Students with Relief Award

In a bid to ameliorate the financial challenges of its members, the National Economics Students Association (NESA), University of Lagos (UNILAG) Branch has instituted a student relief award to support indigent members of the Association.

According to one of NESA’s staff advisers, Dr. Ayodele Shittu, the beneficiaries for the 2023/2024 academic session were picked via a transparent selection process across levels in collaboration with course advisers.

The Head, Department of Economics, Prof. Oludare Akinleye, on behalf of the NESA executives presented the relief award of thirty thousand naira (N30,000) each to the beneficiaries.

The beneficiaries include:

  • Prince Olatokunbo Micheal              – 200 level
  • Odelade Samson Oluwakayode      – 200 level
  • Esther Temiloluwa Afolabi               – 300 level
  • Favour Chinecherem Ukatu             – 300 level
  • Egbukichi Jude Ugonna                  – 400 level
